This is Tehran. A treasure collected in two hundred years of modern age civilization and it is difficult to keep a clear, nostalgic, memorable image of this city in mind, as it deserves. Tehran appearance is formed with profit-seeking standards. Substantiality and the composition of building masses which is a part of the morphology of the city can be studied as the “Urban Plastic”. This article investigates the urban plastic of Tehran and introduces the perceptions emerged from it.
