More than a decade urban renewal has been a major issue to Iranian urban managers. Meanwhile despite the intensive programs aimed for urban renewal, the gap between deteriorated fabrics and renewal of these fabrics is increasingly growing. This discussion session was allocated to this issue and Dr. Mohammad Saeed Izadi, CEO of urban development and revitalization organization, Dr. Fariborz Rayis Dana, economist expert, and Dr. Seyyed Amir Mansouri, editor in chief of the magazine discussed the issue in two parts.
