Abstract

New public and private fields have come to existence. The theorists of the fields of environmental psychology, sociology, urban design, architecture and other fields should obtain an appropriate knowledge of this case to be able to design along with the comprehensive goals of the design and avoid complications. Since this article aims to have a clear view of this challenge, we need to explain "What" and "How" the environmental data is being received and saved, in order to refer to it as an intellectual foundation. The human being instinctively recreates his past experiences in encountering the pristine environment. Being in virtual space (as a pristine environment that is unprecedented in its lifetime) makes the man do the same behavior unconsciously. Recognizing virtual environment, predicting the human behavior in this environment, explaining the sense of affiliation and its ability of being memorable in the virtual environment and the tendency for social interactions are the main challenges of this research. Virtual environment has become a place due to the user’s definition of this environment in their minds. A realistic and scientific (repeatable and examining) experience to behavioral sciences in a virtual environment and a programmed effort are expected as a result of this challenge. This study is a new warning and a new way to review and research this case and it requires a serious support from urban managers and virtual space designers. Since the authors’ efforts have led to demonstrating the perception of virtual space based on previous experience of the real environment - the experiences have been formed in cultural field, we need to analysis the community cultures for creating a successful virtual space. Hypothesis: Virtual space has all the components and capability of transforming a space to place, and affects the users’ collective memory directly.
